WVU Thompson Economics Club

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Thompson Economics Club website. The Thompson Economics Club is for graduate students and faculty of the Department of Economics at West Virginia University.

The goal of the club is to create an environment in which students and faculty can socialize, network, and exchange culture and ideas. The club annually hosts international dinners, cook-out parties, and different sport activities. Last year we went to the spring IMF/World Bank meetings in Washington, D.C. We also like to keep in touch with our alumni and enjoy hearing from them about their career success and a course of life. The constitution of the Thompson Economics Club can be found here .

This website is designed to provide information for current Thompson Club members, alumni, and prospective students who intend to apply to the Ph.D. in Economics program at WVU. The website also offers quick links in economics for current graduate students.

We hope that you enjoy being a part of Thompson Economics Club, and we are looking forward to welcoming new members.
